Amaranthine: eternal; everlasting; undying.

Inspired by and named for eternal love.

This design is worked from the brim up. It is created with panels of interlocking cabled hearts and tiny twist cables which follow the lines of the ribbed brim to produce a cosy beanie. When the cabled hearts are complete the tiny twist cables continue on into the crown giving the hat a unique look.

The pattern comes with written instructions and charts for the cables.

Evanescent Slouchy Hat is a slouchy style variation which features just one panel of the interlocking hearts.
