These toe-up, heel flap and gusset socks feature three sizes and a high instep option for all sizes. First published as part of the Dye Dreams Four Seasons Sock Club, Spring 2009.

Fiddlehead ferns are the harbingers of spring, with their tender spiraling shoots that are fun to watch as they unfurl. The beaded center of the front lace pattern reminds me of the tiny buds that emerge everywhere in the springtime, and the top is the feathered glory of the ferns in their bloom of full growth. Socks are beaded throughout using the crochet hook add-as-you-go method.

Bead requirements: Seed beads, size 8/0 - approximately 202 (202, 222). Always purchase more beads than you think you will need.
