This quirky basket is worked in the round from the bottom up. You can customise it to your preferred size by working more or less rounds of the base.

The sides of the basket are made nice and firm by using a combination of post stitches in a honeycomb pattern, and a popcorn stitch at the centre of each popcorn.

If you’ve tried Diamond Trellis Basket then you’ll find this pattern even easier, and fun for using up left over stash too!

Gauge is not critical for this project - the main thing is to use a smaller hook size than your yarn label, or hold several strand of yarn together for a nice stiff basket.

Have fun!
