A fun hat featuring a traditional Scandinavian-style rose pattern. Wear as a beanie by folding the brim to achieve the desired degree of ear coverage, or get the slouchy look by leaving the brim unfolded.

The hat is worked in the round, from brim to crown. Instructions for the stranded colourwork pattern and crown shaping are given in a chart.

The long ribbed brim is very stretchy, meaning the hat will fit a range of head sizes (20-22 in or 51-56 cm).

2 balls of the main colour and 1 ball of the contrast colour are recommended. Roughly 250 yd of main colour and 65 yd of contrast colour will be needed for a hat with a main colour pompom.
