Tail Feathers is a pretty yet practical sock that combines narrow cables with a simple feathery lace pattern reminiscent of the plumage and tail feathers of a peacock.

Notes: If your feet are on the smaller size (< size 8-9), work 1 repeat less of the plumage pattern in the foot than indicated.

Errata:
v1 of pattern: 2 grey “no stitch” symbols were missed in the chart and written instructions. Rnd 4 of the Plumage Chart actually ends with 30 sts, and Rnd 12 ends with 33. In the Tail Feathers chart, Rnd 4 ends with 34 sts. (Corrected in V2 of pattern)

v1-v3:size small: k32 sts in first row of heel turn, not 33 as written.

v1-v4: On back leg, it says to work Tail Feathers chart as follows: p1, work chart, p1. For the small size, you’ll actually work the chart only. No purls on either side except the ones from the chart.

v1-V4: Errors in front ribbing chart and written instructions with incorrect stitch count given in even numbered rounds. Correct written instructions & stitch map available here.
