Alicia Plummer (she/her) is a teacher, knitwear designer and author who lives in Maine, near the Ocean. She writes knitting patterns because she likes storytelling with her hands. She spends her time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, wandering trails and drinking in sunsets. She believes that an hour a day of the forest is just enough to sustain happiness, and that loving everyone for who they are is important.

Alicia believes that knitting patterns are a method of storytelling. Our voices and experiences matter. We can incorporate worlds into our stitches: memories, moments, feelings.

It is very important to me to love the way Jesus loved. He looked at people’s hearts and not their labels.
