Knitspot owner and designer Anne Hanson, a life-long knitter with a background in the fashion and graphic design fields, began designing clothing, knitwear, and accessories during the 1970s. Anne, who teaches and writes about knitting, spinning, and designing at her blog, knitspot.com, lives and works in Ohio with David, who loves wool, too. Anne and David together are the owners and creators of the renowned Knitspot yarn clubs and bare naked wools yarn. Anne’s design work/profile has been included in Knitty, The Knitter, Interweave Knits, Twist Collective, Sock Club, Brave New Knits, and Wool People. She is also a world renowned instructor and has released an Interweave Blocking Handknits DVD, Knitting Daily episode, and three Craftsy classes.

We have organized a summer retreat for Wooster weekend (Memorial Day Weekend). Classes and activities will take place here, in Canton (about a half hour from the show grounds) at the lovely McKinley Grand Hotel—which has tons of space for a gigantic knitters gathering!
