In summer 2009 I caught the knitting bug. My first project was a pair of socks. I was in love. By the end of the year I had embarked on a journey that I never would have thought would become a whole business: designing.

Playing with colors, textures, fibers, techniques, and styles--bringing them together into a finished design--is a joy to me. And then being able to share them with knitters around the world via Ravelry, talking to those who so kindly knit my patterns and share their experiences with me as they add their own perspective to my designs…it’s my dream job. {Well, sort of--I want a brick-and-mortar yarn shop of my own!!}

Now I am branching out into my own line of yarn, which has been a dream since I really got into designing. I’ve dreamed of working with my own yarn, my own colorways… And now, with the help of a good yarn-dyer friend, the dream is coming true.
