I wish to create handknitting designs that are practical, express a place and time, are enjoyable to knit and are good-looking too. Simple designs are my favorites. My designs range from classic to quirky. It is my intention to offer only high quality, complete and clearly written patterns.

I am most attracted to Shetland handknitting traditions and Scandinavian handknitting. I am also drawn to America’s historic knitting and historic knitting from around the world.
