My name is Inese Sang. I am a Latvian knitwear designer, and after spending a decade as an interior designer and a translator in Shanghai, I am currently living in Vancouver with my family.

My designs are equally inspired by nature, urban settings and my Latvian heritage. I create pieces around the stories, recollections and memories, looking for the stitches and colourways that could relay these stories the best.

I believe in the beauty and the importance of the details and bring it into my designs.
I love to explore the correlation between textures and colours and experiment with levels of contrasts within my patterns, making them engaging to knit, yet easy to wear.

My heart forever belongs to colour grey, and I am gravitating towards the hues that have a bit of gray undertone to them, too.
