Wool, silk, alpaca, mohair, any natural fibre - I dye it, spin it, knit it, crochet it, love it!

These last few years I’ve grown particularly fond of the wool of our local sheep breeds - suomenlammas (Finnish landrace sheep, Finnsheep), kainuunharmas (Grey Finnsheep) and ahvenanmaanlammas (Åland sheep). Can’t help it: my projects and designs look best when done in handspun or rustic local yarns. No merino or superwash for me, please.
