This workshop is an introduction into spinning.

This program will suit the beginning spinner as well as spinners who want to improve outcomes.

All the basics of fibre preparation, spinning singles and plying will be covered and more. Participants will gain the skills needed to spin with confidence.

Requirements

  • a working wheel
  • carders
  • skein winder / niddy noddy
  • at least 3 bobbins
  • fleece or tops to spin.

Loan equipment can be arranged for class use and of course the Emporium has fibres galore if needed.

“Loan equipment” and any fibres to be used will have to be borrowed/bought prior to turning up for the class, i.e. At least by the meeting on Saturday 20th March, as Easter is at the beginning of April.

The price for this QSWFA Workshop is $60 members and non-members per day.
