The tunic uses an interesting elongated stitch pattern for the skirt part.

To allow the stripes to continue across the v-neck front top, a crochet steek is worked that not only doesn’t require a sewing machine but also makes for a nice finished edge on the WS. :)

Errata:
On Row 11, a “p3” is missing to complete the cable before it gets repeated. It should read:

Row 11: …, k4, then place the long st back on LH needle and k this st, p3; rep from *, end k3.
