Materials required: 0.60 mm crochet hook, No. 100 crochet thread or good quality sewing thread, small flowers and greenery, (to decorate fan). Starching materials - see end of pattern.

Finished sizes:
Mantelpiece cover: shown here on a 3½-inch/9 cm wide mantelpiece, but instructions are given to increase or decrease size.
Fan – 2-inches/5 cm wide by 1¼-inches/3 cm high
Mats – ¾-inch/2 cm diameter

Gauge – 7 tr = ½-inch/1.25 cm
