Worked flat in one piece, a long-line kimono ruana couldn’t be simpler to knit. It begins at the back lower edge and is worked to the shoulder, where it is divided in half for the fronts. Intersecting the high-contrast blue, violet and navy shades of Taiyo colorway #86, the overall pattern of columnar knit/purl texture creates a gridded effect. Self-finished edges round out the streamlined look. For added drama, wear it with one of the front panels thrown over your shoulder.
