Designers comment on yarn substitution:

When the yarn company was contacted about yarn substitution for the original Maggiknits Irish Linen/Cotton hand-knotted with fur…(now discontinued), used for the bolero. Maggie Jackson replied, “You would need a yarn that has some texture. If you are using my linen doubled I would go down a needle size as it is thinner than the true Irish Linen that was used in 2002.”
