3 Movie Cowl
Everyone needs a knitting project to work on while watching movies or attending social knitting. This is the perfect project that enables you to be productive while you are visiting with friends, or enjoying (maybe guiltily binge-watching) your favorite Netflix or Amazon series. Barbara knit this shoulder wrap/poncho/cowl with the amazing, new Hot Cakes from Plymouth Yarn, while watching three movies over a weekend. As the simple stitch pattern flows through your fingers, the yarn color stripes transition from one to the next, resulting in a beautiful cowl. It couldn’t be any easier!
The cowl is approximately 13 1/2” deep x 43” in circumference. The piece will stretch to nearly double its circumference!
Gauge 5 sts./in. 1 x 1 ribbing.

Materials
One skein of Plymouth, Hot Cakes yarn (200 grams, 404 yards), 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool. Worsted weight yarn. Pictured color #0003, Gray/Burgundy.
Size 8 circular needles in 24” or 32” length. Stitch marker. Yarn needle.

Note: Although this project was developed using Hot Cakes, 400 yards of any self striping worsted weight yarn will work with this pattern. Have fun!

and energy!
Thank you for modeling, too!)
