The subtle stripes in Cathy Carron’s jaunty beret come from working two-color stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch ridges. Knit in earth-toned baby alpaca, it’s a menswear looked with a feminine touch.

1 (2) 1 3/4oz/50g skeins (each approx 146yd/134m) of Misti Alpaca Sport (baby alpaca) each in #NT505 natural grey (A) and #2081 chocolate caramel moulinette (B) YARN WT = 1
Substitute Yarn
1 (1) 3 1/2oz/100g skeins (each approx 436yd/399m) of Misti Alpaca Tonos Carnaval (superfine alpaca/merino wool/silk/nylon) each in #TF07 blackberry and #TF05 sand dune YARN WT = 1
