Up to the minute fashion for your doll this Autumn with a cute “Coatigan” and “Messsy Bun Hat”. (There are also instructions if you want the hat as a beanie instead).
There is a textured pattern on the hat which is duplicated at the sleeve cuffs and also at the hem of the coatigan. 2 “secret” pockets are set in with the top of them level with the top of the hem border.
The textured pattern then continues up the garment at the front borders.
The sleeves are knit first to the underarm, the main body is then knit in one piece to the underarm. At that stage the sleeves are introduced and the rest of the garment is knit all in one.
The only sewing up is the sleeves from cuff to underarm and the pockets.
Knitted in a UK double knit yarn using 3.25mm and 3.75mm needles.
