Instructions for a baby’s boys formal suit set.

The set comprises of a two pattern waistcoat with pocket corner, long sleeve shirt with bow tie, cap, lace up shoes and long trousers.

You will need:

17-18” or 42.5-45cm Height (Approx 4-5lb Prem) Size
150g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 150g contrast colour B, an oddment of contrast colour C, 11 buttons, 3 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size
200g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 200g contrast colour B, an oddment of contrast colour C, 11 buttons, 3 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 51-53.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size
200g 4ply yarn in main colour A, 200g contrast colour B, an oddment of contrast colour C, 11 buttons, 3 x stitch holders,1 x pr 3.75mm needles. OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (Approx 0-3 Months) Size
250g dk yarn in main colour A, 200g contrast colour B, an oddment of contrast colour C, 11 buttons, 3 x stitch holders,1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

(3-6 Months) Size
250g dk yarn in main colour A, 200g contrast colour B, an oddment of contrast colour C, 11 buttons, 3 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.
