THIS CAP IS KNITTED ON TWO NEEDLES, FLAT, AND THEN SEWN TOGETHER WHEN FINISHED! Very easy. Size 8mm (US11) needles used.
Starts at the ribbing, and ends at the top. It has very simple decreasing involved.

I would not say it is a beginner level though, as the peak
requires regular decreasing on each side to form the curve, and is made in two pieces, then sewn together. The beanie part would be easy enough for a beginner, as the peak is sewn on after construction. So the beanie part of the hat is ready to wear, without the peak.

Instructions will be included for you to make a plastic insert for the peak, using a plastic lid from a 2 litre ice cream bucket.

It takes about one hour to make the hat, and then a bit of additional time to assemble it. But relatively speaking, it is a rather quick project.

The finished hat will be size 22 inches around the ribbing, which fits most adults and teens.
