The Adaluma Scarf is a relaxed and easy pattern, with a dramatic result. It’s perfect for using up all those precious, but small bundles of yarn left over from previous projects, as well as minis from swaps, or even a Yarn Advent Calendar. Or perhaps you have some special skeins of hand dyed yarn you have been saving for the perfect project, the Adaluma Scarf might be it!
Even though this pattern is listed for use with 4 ply/fingering weight/sock yarn you really can use any weight yarn (and appropriate size needles) and knit until you’ve reached your desired scarf length or until you run out of yarn (whichever comes first!). This means the Adaluma Scarf is an excellent stash busting pieces, as well as being perfect for use with handspun yarn as well, because a certain gauge is not important either. As long as you’re getting a knitted fabric you like, then you’re good to go! That’s how versatile this pattern is :-)
Easy to make, easy to wear, easy to style. You will find yourself coming back to the Adaluma Scarf pattern time and time again.
