The Adelaide Poncho is a light weight airy garment perfect for layering. It boasts a wide collar with stitches that complement the garter construction of the poncho. The stitches used form a nice chain stitch appearance along the border of the poncho. Colorways are fun in this poncho and will create interesting patterns. Best of all, the easy knitting stitches make this a perfect beginner pattern.

You can wear the Adelaide four ways. One way is with the vertical rows and one with the horizontal rows. The other two ways are without the collar either vertically or horizontally.

Using large needles with worsted weight yarn, the Adelaide knits up more quickly than imagined.

Instructions are included on how to modify the length should you decide you want to customize this poncho.

For size reference, sample poncho is shown on a U.S. Size 10/12 mannequin.
