Inspired by an Andinkra symbol ‘Eban’’. it can be translated to mean fence. It can have a meaning of love and security as well as protection.

Here are charts including the simple motif on its own, and
turned into a block which can be infinitely repeated with one edge stitch and row to make an all over design in the style of printed textiles with bold lines and geometry.

Choose a strong dark shade for the lines and go for a strong contrast in bright shades in traditional vibrant colours of red, green or orange for the same effect as the charts. Or, try it out in plain black with white background for a monochrome statement.
