This easy-to-make versatile cowl is constructed from a ribbed base made from thicker DK weight yarn and then topped off with lacy mesh fabric made from lighter Fingering weight yarn. This results in the cowl being perfectly anchored around your neck.

I used Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (DK weight) in the color Cavern for the base and Dream in Color Smooshy (Fingering weight) in Coco Kiss.

The finished cowl measures approximately 24” by 7”.
