A few years ago, my mom DEMANDED (hahaha!) a new matching set with a hat, scarf and fingerless mitts, but browsing patterns online, I couldn’t find one that didn’t look seriously outdated. So I made my own! This pattern is suitable for beginners who are looking to branch out just a tiny bit. Once you learn the pattern for the spirals, it’s a mindless knit that looks fabulous! Plus, each of the items is knit in the round, so there’s no dreaded seaming at the end!

The pattern is written in one size to fit an average-sized woman.

You should be familiar with knitting in the round, using double pointed needles, and the following stitches:

Stitches used:

k2tog knit two together
k3tog knit three together
