Amelia is a bird wing shaped shawl, perfect to drape around your shoulders when you are flying out the door.

Rather than the normal triangular shape, this shawl dips down slightly on the outer edges giving a gull wing or bird wing shape. This drapes beautifully over your shoulders or sits around your neck like a scarf.

The shawl is made with a plain double crochet US terms section and then a beautiful feathery pattern, which works up quickly and easily.

The size is easily adaptable, you can choose to go larger by extending the first part or by adding more patterned rows, or by using thicker yarn.
I used Double knit yarn with a 4mm hook.
