American Girl Doll Poncho and Beret
Cool weather requires cute cover-ups. What is more fitting than a poncho and beret to keep the chill off? The pattern requires some intermediate skills for the provisional tubular cast-on. The recommended yarn is Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic and will take approximately 180 yds of the main color and maybe up to 25 yds for the flowers and trim or I-cord bow. The flowers and trim around the bottom of the poncho are crocheted. If you do not crochet, you can knit the optional I-cord bows instead. The poncho is worked from the top down and the beret is worked fom the bottom up. Both are worked in the round.
You are free to sell your finished doll clothes. Please give me credit for the pattern!
