Inspired by beautiful ancient colors and textures found in ancient art around the world, this shawl incorporates different stitch patterns in its design.

This crescent shaped shawl is knit flat, from the top down using a garter stitch tab cast on. The design includes garter stitch, wicker stitch and mosaic color-work.

For best results, this shawl requires vigorous wet-blocking when completed.

An I-Cord bind off is used in the finishing of this shawl. A great video tutorial can be found here: I-Cord bind off Tutorial
