Make your own crochet Andalite based off K. A. Applegate’s design from the book series, Animorphs. As Animorphs enthusiasts know, Andalites are an intelligent species of blue, centaur like aliens with the unique ability to morph into any creature it touches. Now you can make your own!

To make this pattern, you will need:
• Worsted-weight yarn in blue, and white. (brand does not matter)
• Size G crochet hook (4 mm) and size F (3.75 mm)
• Fiberfill or stuffing
• Needle with a large eye
• 9 mm plastic safety eye

Other materials:
• Fabric paint in peach/light flesh tone, black, and green
• 16 gauge aluminum jewelry wire
• Small amount of plastic canvas
• Paint brush
• Black embroidery thread

This pattern is at an intermediate/advanced level. Previous amigurumi experience is highly recommended. You need to know how to single crochet in the round, increase, decrease, slip stitch, and crochet in the front loop only. This pattern calls for the use of wire for the tail, arms, legs, and eyestalks. Never used wire before? Detailed instructions are included to help guide you along in the process!

Pattern includes 11 pages of detailed instruction in English and color photos of the work-in-progress and finished product to help guide you along. Finished product measures about 12” tall and approximately 14” long with the tail stretched out.
