Anker's Bonnet

Anker’s Bonnet is worked first back and forth in segments of rib st. Then, the crown is shaped with decreases while being knit in stockinette st in the round on double pointed needles. The rib st is stretchy and it will adapt comfortably to the child’s head.
Sizes: 0-2 months (3-6 months) 6-9 months (1-2 years) 2-4 years
Gauge: 36 sts x 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches in 1 x 1 Rib Stitch
Suggested needles: 3 mm needles and 3 mm double pointed needles
Materials: 50 g of fingering weight yarn for all sizes
Suggested yarn: Tynn Merinoull from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 175 m/191 yards)
