This pattern was designed for the Fingerless Glove Fanatics Mystery Mitt KAL for October 2015. The pattern will be free for the month of October, and will be updated weekly with new clues on October 1, 8, 15, 22. FGF welcomes all who want to participate! Just please don’t post any pictures of a clue in the thread until the next clue has been released.

This pattern uses two colors of contrasting yarn, and is worked in a slip stitch mosaic pattern. This is a great technique to use multiple colors and is an easy way to play with color in your project. You only work with one color at a time!

The sample knit was done using Dream in Color Smooshy. To get the best effect, choose yarns that have lots of contrast with each other. At least one should be a solid, or a semisolid. The other can be a solid as well, but a variegated might work as long it’s not too busy, and a self striping yarn could be interesting as well.
