This beautiful scarf was designed to keep me occupied on a long business trip. With two skeins of sock yarn and a sequence knit in mind, “April in York” sprouted forth from my needles. It’s a garter-based, rib stitch using a simple 10-stitch sequence which is sure to quiet frazzled nerves. I started from the bottom point and worked upward; all of the yarn is used. The optional stripes add interest.
