This pattern looks complex, but in reality is very easy. With only two written rows making up the six-row pattern repeat, it’s simple to memorize and fun to work. Using a ribbed reverse cable technique made popular by Lily Chin and others, ribs are formed on both sides of the scarf simultaneously as you go along.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions, so you can pick whichever is your favorite.

Notions:
Cable needle
Tapestry needle
Removable stitch marker (optional)
