A simple popover is an ideal layering piece for chilly days. After joining the bottom hems, this knitted poncho is worked in the round to the arms.

NOTE
Back and front of this garment are worked flat, separately to top of side slits, then joined and worked in the round over center section. They are again separated at the underarm and each is worked flat to the shoulders. Shoulders are shaped using short rows and are then joined using 3-needle bind-off.
