Ascent Socks feature garter stitch arrows marching up the center, along with flowing twisted stitches that give a feeling of upward motion. Garter panels along the side allow the pattern to pop, and also provide sizing flexibility with five sizes offered in the pattern (and an easy opportunity for added calf shaping if desired). Choose a solid or semi-solid yarn to show off your stitches in high relief!

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round, working twisted stitches, and basic sock construction. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.

This pattern includes an illustrated tutorial for an uncommon twisted increase that’s used to create the tidy point in the stitch pattern. Written instructions are provided for the twisted decreases used in this design, and the pattern also includes a video tutorial link for all 3 special stitches.
