• DESCRIPTION

The hat is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing and learn to knit in the round, and it will also introduce you to decreasing and shaping.

This hat will be super fun to wear for Christmas!

Yarn

1 ball or skein of bulky/chunky/12-ply yarn 100g.

Scraps of DK (light 03) yarn in red, mustard/gold, green, and white for the poms.

Needles

8mm (US 11) 16″ Circular needles

You may also need a set of 8mm (US 11) double-pointed needles for the decreases.

Level – Easy

This is an easy-level knitting pattern, and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing, and working in the round.

• SIZING

There are 8 sizes to make, including regular adult size and adult size for larger heads.
