This is a very stretchy, soft hat when knit with lofty sock yarn.
The hat weighs about 25 grams.
The owl motif is applied using an embroidery needle after the hat is knit with small amounts of pink, yellow, orange, beige, green and black sock yarn using duplicate stitch and embroidery.
You can also add a pompom in matching colours.
The finished hat (unstretched) is approximately 12 inches / 30 cm in circumference, 5.25 inches / 13 cm from top to bottom (excluding pompom).
Pompom is approximately 2.25 inches / 5.5 cm in diameter.
