What am I missing?
Baby Sacque or Kimono
A set, including a sacque/kimono and booties. Published in 1946. Important: Yarn weight, hook size, and yardage listed are educated guesses, and may be inaccurate. Please use your own judgment, and remember to swatch.
Gauge: 1 shell and 1 dc make 1 inch; 2 rows make 1 inch.
Size: Infant. The finished sacque is 11 inches long, the kimono version is 18 inches.
Materials: Bone Crochet Hook No. 3
Two 1/2 yard lengths of ribbon for the booties.
Baby Wool (3/4 oz. balls): (Yardage listed in parenthesis is an estimate only, and assumes a yarn approximately 169 yards to the ounce, or 296 yards to 50 g.)
- 4 balls for Sacque (507 yards)
- 5 balls for Kimono (634 yards)
- 1 ball for Bootees (127 yards)
