The yarn, yardage, and needle size is what I used on the test piece, however this pattern could be used for any yarn that is lace weight up to DK.
I used 2 strands of the Araucania yarn held together, and a total of 2 skeins (914 yards). The yardage will vary depending on the yarn weight, but 1.5 - 2 skeins should be fine for any yarn up to DK weight.
My test piece was 9” x 50” (23cm x 127cm) but the pattern is easily modified for a different length or width.
