This pattern is to commemorate 142nd Australian Sheep and Wool Show at Bendigo, which is the largest event of it’s type in the world!
I always make something special for the show, so I thought I would share something this year as well.
The Bendigo 2019 Socks are worked toe up, with a quick and easy short row heel, and a simple, but eye-catching rams horn cable running up the front of the foot, bordered by a ridge of broken rib either side of the cable, to help fit the foot comfortably. Double rib around the back of the leg means this sock is wonderfully stretchy, and accommodates many different leg shapes and sizes easily.
The pattern comes with instructions for 3 different width sizes, so there is one for everyone!
The pattern also comes with charts for all sizes, as well as written instructions.

So if you’re attending the Australian Sheep and Wool Show at Bendigo this year and you’re going to pick up a special skein of souvenir sock yarn to remember your visit, this could be the perfect pattern for you!
And if you’re not attending the show, maybe this pattern will be a way for you to live vicariously through your knitting!
