Located in an upland area between the Monashee Mountain range and the Okanagan Valley is Big White Mountain, the highest summit of the Okanagan Highland and home to the third largest ski resort in British Columbia. A family-oriented winter playground affectionately called “Biggie” by locals!

This quick, unisex hat is knit with super bulky yarn and includes options for child and adult sizes and a slouchy or beanie version.

YARN/YARDAGE

Super Bulky/Jumbo weight yarn—approx. 110–150g (55–90y), depending on size and style knit.

TOOLS

6.5mm (US 10.5) and 8mm (US 11) needles for preferred method of working in the round, or size needed to get gauge, stitch marker, darning needle

GAUGE

10 st / 4” in pattern, with larger needles, after blocking

(A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.)
