Blue Betty was born out of a desire for a colorwork sweater that would be flattering to every body type.

The sweater is worked in one piece from the bottom up, in the round up to the neck shaping and back and forth after that. The only finishing is grafting underarm sts and knitting the ribbed neckband.

Sizes:
Finished bust measurement:
29.5 (34, 38.75, 43.5 / 48, 52.5, 57.25) in
75 (86.5, 99, 110.5 / 122, 133.5, 146) cm

First sample shown is size S, modeled with about 3 inches of negative ease.

Yarn:
Suggested yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage (100% superwash merino wool; 200 yds/183 m per 110g skein):

5 (5, 6, 6 / 7, 8, 9) skeins in Betty Draper’s Blues for MC, 1 skein (all sizes) in Antler for CC

If substituting yarn, you will need approximately 900 (1000, 1100, 1200 / 1300, 1500, 1700) yds of the main color, and less than 60 yds of the contrasting color for all sizes.
