These striped mittens will brighten even the dreariest winter day. Extra long cuffs will keep your wrists toasty warm even when your sleeves ride up or gusts of wind work their way into your coat. The techno yarn is lightweight but warm and extra-soft. It’s lovely to work with and promises not to pill. Three skeins will easily make a pair of mittens and a hat.
The finished mittens are quite stretchy and will fit a variety of adult hand shapes and sizes. Most of the shaping for this quick project is done by changing needle size. For smaller hands and a snugger fit, work the hand using the small needles instead of medium.
