This beret is knit using a fingering weight yarn from the I-cord at the top down, in the round. It features a textured knit/purl ripple pattern. It is sized to fit most women’s head circumferences.

Note that this pattern contains instructions for both the hat and the matching gloves. You will need 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn to knit both the gloves and the hat.

Gloves: Women’s S (M, L) Hand circumference: 7 (7 1/2, 8) inches
Tam: Women’s M Head circumference 22 inches

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% Wool), 275 yds/50 g skein, color: Hayloft, 2 skeins for Gloves & Tam
Needles: Set of five US2 (2.75mm) DPNs and US2 (2.75mm) 16-inch circular needle
Notions: Spare circular needle (US2 or smaller) or waste yarn, removable markers, stitch markers, B/US2 crochet hook, tapestry needle
