The ghastly motif, an adaptation of a Barbara Walker pattern, is created with a few lace stitches and continually crossing cable stitches, which could be worked with or without a cable needle. The toe-up construction guarantees a custom fit, and the whole is crowned with spooky asymmetrical ribbing that flows naturally from the ghost motif.
