A mesh-like stitch pattern combined with irregularly placed rows of Garter Stitch create a trailing scarf, reminiscent of bougainvillea.

Designed especially to make the most of a single skein of a luxury yarn, this design uses double yarn overs to create the open mesh-like pattern. The scarf is worked on the bias, allowing the yarn colours to be distributed in a pleasing fashion.

Add Garter Stitch rows wherever you like to create your own version of this pattern.
