Brighton Newborn Romper

the pattern is for a baby romper made to fit a newborn

it is meant to be used as a photo prop, yet it can be also worn with a fitted diaper
(it will not fit over a cloth diaper though)

it is knit FLAT and there are no sewing involved (you will have to add buttons though!)

please, make sure you are able to obtain the necessary gauge before you get started - GAUGE IS IMPORTANT!

Gauge 4 in / 10cm – 20 stitches x 26 rows

You will need a skein of DK yarn. if you would like a lighter and daintier romper you can use lighter yarn (you just will have to use larger size knitting needles).
You can use any type of yarn. You just have to make sure you get the right gauge (you will need to make a swatch and probably you will have to try several different knitting needle sizes).

also you will need a crochet hook - you will have to make crochet ties. they are made of simple chain crochet.

Then, you will also need a sewing/darning needle, six buttons and a stitch marker.
