Inspired by the sometimes snow-dusted mountain ranges to the west of Canberra, the Brindabella Mitts feature rolling ridges bordered by simple lace.

Sizes:
Mitts measure approximately 20cm/7.75 inches from cuff to fingertip edge and will fit hand (measured across the palm):
Small: 19cm/7.5 inches
Large: 20.5cm/8 inches

Yarn substitution: While this design has been written for sport weight yarn, you can easily substitute your favourite fingering weight sock (4ply) or DK weight (8ply) yarn. Using fingering weight will give you a more delicate mitt that is slightly shorter from cuff to fingertip, and DK will give your mitts some extra length and boost the cosy factor. The pattern will indicate where you may need to add/reduce the number of row repeats to accommodate different yarn weights.
