This Snuggle works up very quickly and makes a beautiful shell pattern. You may like this pattern so much that you would like to even make a Snuggle for yourself.

Snuggles Project Mission Statement

The Snuggles Project was founded by our president Rae French, in 1996. …the security blankets are called ’Snuggles’.

…most shelter animals are kept in areas with stainless steel braces and hard plastic flooring or even bare concrete floors. The Snuggles would allow them to have a little reprieve from the coldness of the pen they are kept in.

….while you are knitting, crocheting or sewing your Snuggles, please respect the originality and the future of the project and give credit where credit is due.

Whenever you give your finished Snuggles to a shelter, let everyone know you’re a part of the Snuggles Project effort! Fill out a Donation Report form to help count all the Snuggles that are helping homeless animals.
